NECO e-Verification Overview
The NECO e-Verify platform (everify.neco.gov.ng) is an official digital verification and confirmation solution designed by the National Examinations Council (NECO). It allows candidate academic records, O'Level results, and certificates to be authenticated electronically in real-time.
This system is actively used by candidates, employers, polytechnics, universities, and other higher institutions across Nigeria and abroad to confirm credentials with total reliability, eliminating physical document forgery and administrative delays.
Official Channel: Tokens purchased on RGCdigital come with the required Token/RRR, registered Phone Number, and Email needed to activate on the NECO e-Verify portal.
How It Works
Follow the specific workflow based on your objective:
Option A: Student Result Verification
Visit everify.neco.gov.ng and create a new account (or sign in if you already have one)
Click the 'Verify Payment Token' button on your dashboard
Enter the Token/RRR, Phone Number, and Email received from your RGCdigital order, then click 'Verify Payment'
Once validated, click 'Submit Application', fill out the corresponding candidate details form, and click 'Validate'
The verified result statement will be delivered directly to your email address and made available for immediate PDF download
Option B: Admission Processing (Tertiary Institutions)
Visit everify.neco.gov.ng and create an account or login if you already have an active profile
Click the 'Verify Payment Token' button on the e-Verify dashboard
Input the Token/RRR, Phone Number, and Email received from RGCdigital, then click 'Verify Payment'
Once validated, copy the Token and Payment Reference (Pay Ref) from the NECO e-Verify portal. Use the Token as PIN and Pay Ref as Serial Number on your institution's admission portal
CRITICAL NOTE: Do NOT click the "Submit Application" button on the NECO e-Verify portal if you are purchasing the token strictly for institutional admission processing. Doing so will exhaust the token before your school portal can validate it.
